Our Story

While studying engineering, Maria Helena chose instead to follow her true passion: the culinary arts. After several years in the hospitality industry, she wanted to start her own company to meet the rising need for custom menus tailored to each client’s personal tastes. What’s more she wanted to share the food she loves with the DC Metro Area.

 

Thanks to Maria’s passionate and personal approach, Creative Catering quickly grew from a tiny business in a shared space into one of D.C.’s elite catering companies operating out of a fully-equipped commercial kitchen in Foggy Bottom. Her business venture proved so successful, it allowed her to branch out into the restaurant industry with Saya, our sister company. As Creative Catering continues to thrive and expand, we look forward to serving you in the future.
